A credit union website focused on A Smarter Way Forward for members
After rebranding, Tower Federal Credit Union needed a new website that would reflect its refreshed image and deliver an exceptional digital member experience. The newly designed website needed to meet the evolving needs of members and the market, drive new membership growth and acquisition, and reinforce the credit union’s tagline, “A Smarter Way Forward.”
Focusing on usability and the digital experience
The new site architecture creates an intuitive navigation experience, surfaces key products and services, and ensures constant access to the most popular/important pages - making it easy for members to find what they are looking for. The robust site search also allows for quick queries, providing additional convenience that is consistent with user trends and expectations. With a responsive design and focus on mobile users and ADA conformance, the website supports a positive user experience for all audiences on difference devices and screen sizes.
Bringing the new brand to life
The website design infuses the brand colors, textures and other visual elements to create a truly unique and branded experience that engages visitors while illustrating Tower Federal Credit Union’s unique personality. Allowing for the creation of custom yet consistent branded content experiences, all page layouts leverage flexible components that can be used strategically on an individual page level. In addition to visual cues, Why Tower pages are prioritized in the menu to increase visibility of the credit union’s vision, values and the benefits of banking with Tower Federal Credit Union.
Creating an easily digestible content experience
The redesigned website offers the capability to use larger or distinct text styles, and use line breaks or branded backgrounds to give more emphasis to specific content to make it easier to read and more visually engaging. Image and icon-based text components also create more visual content that engages consumers and effectively communicates unique product, service and credit union benefits. The new website content successfully supports this visual content approach, strategically using components to highlight key messages and information in a way that will appeal to Tower Federal Credit Union’s target audiences.
Supporting the consumer and decision-making journey
Implementing SEO best practices, the new website is optimized for organic search to increase visibility among the right audiences. Educational content such as financial wellness blogs and calculators help attract consumers at various stages of the buyer journey, allowing Tower Federal Credit Union to establish meaningful relationships with potential new members. Integrated product-level resources along with strategically placed calls to action and applications also create a streamlined decision-making experience. Additionally, conversion-focused landing pages complete the journey, from awareness and consideration to account opening or loan application.
Leveraging custom features and functionality
The Kentico CMS provides robust built-in technology, while custom development and functionality makes site management easier and more efficient for administrators. This includes a rates management tool that stores rate information in a central location. A custom events management tool also provides a list and calendar-like view of upcoming events, details and registration options. Additionally, we integrated the Locations page with a third party location product. Offering enhanced digital self-service capabilities, the new website includes a membership eligibility finder to help prospective members determine if they can join the credit union.
The newly redesigned website successfully supports Tower Federal Credit Union’s goals now and in the future, helping to move the credit union and their members forward.
