Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union once again partnered with ZAG to transform its website into an engaging, member-focused digital destination. The redesigned site blends modern functionality with the credit union’s local roots, creating an online experience that makes it easier for members to explore products, access services and achieve financial goals.
Helping members navigate with confidence
A thoughtfully organized site structure makes it simple for visitors to find the information they need – from opening an account and becoming a member to accessing current rates, resources and products.
Strategically placed quick links, calls-to-action and supporting navigation elements reduce friction and help users complete tasks efficiently.
The login modal and “What’s New” global navigation item create additional touchpoints for existing & prospective members to discover promotions, news and important credit union updates.
An SEO/GEO-focused strategy was incorporated throughout the site to improve visibility and connect prospective members with relevant financial solutions.
Reflecting the credit union brand
A clean design system, cohesive brand elements and the purposeful use of imagery/iconography create a consistent experience across the website while reinforcing brand recognition..
Thoughtful spacing, typography and visual hierarchy help guide visitors through content naturally, while keeping important information front and center.
Accessibility considerations were incorporated throughout the design and development process to ensure an inclusive experience for all site visitors.

The new site is powered by Kentico’s flexible XbyK CMS which enables the Hawaii Community FCU team to efficiently manage and update content.
Continuing to use ZAG’s rates management tool, the new site is able to dynamically pull in rates from a centralized location, making it easy to ensure consistency and compliance.
Custom, flexible widgets can be placed anywhere within a page and reused across the site, giving administrators the ability to quickly build and adapt layouts without being limited by fixed templates.
Robust product-focused hubs create a comprehensive financial journey for key offerings, showing the credit union’s breadth of service and expertise.
