This position requires working directly with clients and internal staff to manage multiple accounts and exceed client expectations. The Account Manager will report to the Head of Account Management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships for identified clients

  • Serve as day-to-day contact for identified clients

  • Ensure that clients are happy and escalate and positive or negative feedback to management

  • Work alongside digital strategists to proactively plan client projects

  • Review client website / analytics to determine opportunities

  • Develop plan to communicate new ideas / cross-sell ZAG services

  • Stay up to date on features of all CMS’s ZAG builds on as well as overall industry technologies and trends

  • Regularly visit client websites to understand the types of updates the client is making

  • Coordinate monthly meetings with each client, along with strategist as required

  • Maintain updated client notes and minutes from monthly meetings

  • Keep CRM (ZOHO) up to date with all meeting notes, key client interactions, etc.

  • Track hours used for each client and report both internally as well as to the client, when applicable

  • Act as project manager for small client projects utilizing Workfront for resourcing

  • Attend department resource meetings and capacity planning meetings

  • Work with Client Care to stay updated on client’s support tickets

  • Work with department team leads and digital strategist to scope new client work

  • Work with Business Development to write cost summaries as needed for new client work

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in account management or account servicing position, ideally in the digital space

  • Understanding of web technologies and the web development life cycle

  • Experience with small project management

  • Ability to collaboratively work across many teams – strategy, design, development and marketing

In this position, you'll need a high degree of knowledge of Windows (IIS) web servers, firewall administration, DNS, LAN/WAN/VLAN topology, virtualization, and backup, restore, and disaster recovery fundamentals. A solid foundation of network security, both physical and logical is required. Experience working in a high security web hosting environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Hosting Implementation

  • Validate, configure, implement, test and troubleshoot website deployment in the managed hosting infrastructure
  • Oversee and help maintain managed hosting environment. For example, managing Windows server and firewall updates
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure a successful handoff of the clients’ hosting solution
  • Acts as the escalation point for customer hosting issues

System Engineering 

  • Knowledgeable in application transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, IP Routing Email Routing and Microsoft AD), and possess an understanding of how to support these applications/protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances
  • Supervise the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users

Internal Support

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking
  • Respond to staff and provide backup technical assistance and support
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications
  • Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls

Operations

  • Complete time logs in Workfront within 48 hours of completing tasks to ensure accurate and timely billing of the customer.
  • Manage assigned projects
  • Complete any other duties appropriate to job role as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Work full time onsite in Glastonbury CT.
  • Experience with IP address schemes
  • Experience of managed firewall configuration
  • Microsoft Server experience required; Linux experience desired
  • Familiarity with .NET applications

The Technical lead must be adaptable, learn new technologies as needed and successfully manage the daily challenges of a technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend solutions that will maintain or enhance the quality of the website; Understand there are multiple solutions to a problem and determine the best one based on current circumstances.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software application issues escalated by other developers.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements; understand the more complex issues and application correlations behind user requirements.

  • Take ownership of complex cases for further handling as appropriate.

  • Support and promote individual and departmental goals and performance metrics.

  • Assist team members with difficult issues by offering technical expertise and training where applicable; Keep a balance between addressing tickets and educating team to resolve issues.

Education

Required: A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline is required to work as a technical lead. A strong background in troubleshooting and technology support will be beneficial. MUST live and work in Connecticut.
