Web Application Developer provides high-end technical and architectural support to projects. They will develop and implement strategies and design specifications to improve the performance, usability, and effectiveness of the client’s online presence.
Responsibilities

Resolve issues and complete the assignments. Communicate with clients and provide updates about work requests.

Act as a point of escalation for more complicated issues.

Recommend solutions that will maintain or enhance the quality of the website; Understand there are multiple solutions to a problem and determine the best one based on current circumstances.

Collaborate and engage other departments when appropriate to provide comprehensive solutions.

Deliver solutions to both technical and non-technical end-users while also supporting a broad range of technologies.

Troubleshoot and resolve software application issues.

Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements; understand the more complex issues and application correlations behind user requirements.

Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.

Work at a fast pace to meet deadlines and continuously manage workload, which consists of multiple projects and requests.

Determine the root cause of an issue and its relationship to the entire application promptly.

Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Work Experience

Required: Minimum three to five years of professional experience.

Required: Strong programming/development skills (C#, SQL Server database, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, responsive web design, Less/CSS, SCSS/CSS, Gulp

Required: .NET MVC experience, experience with web applications zen framer

Required: Knowledge of source control tools including GIT, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins, and SVN

Required: Knowledge of DevOps

Required: Proficiency in multi-tiered architecture, design, and implementation

Experience with all phases of SDLC

Knowledge of ADA conformant websites, WCAG requirements, an ADA-progressive approach

Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft software (Visual Studio)

Experience with integrating third-party APIs into web applications (Silvercloud, LiveChat and Online banking login, etc.)

Experience with content management systems; Sitefinity, Kentico, and Umbraco is a plus.

Strong understanding of modern responsive web design techniques and supporting libraries/frameworks.

Knowledge of SEO best practices.

Thorough understanding of multi-platform/multi-browser compatibility.
