Responsibilities

Hosting Implementation

  • Validate, configure, implement, test and troubleshoot website deployment in the managed hosting infrastructure

  • Oversee and help maintain managed hosting environment. For example, managing Windows server and firewall updates

  • ​Work with Project Managers to ensure a successful handoff of the clients’ hosting solution

  • ​​Acts as the escalation point for customer hosting issues  

​System Engineering 

  • Knowledgeable in application transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, IP Routing Email Routing and Microsoft AD), and possess an understanding of how to support these applications/protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances 

  • Supervise the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users  

Internal Support 

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking 

  • Respond to staff and provide backup technical assistance and support 

  • Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications  

  • Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls 

Operations 

  • Complete time logs in Workfront within 48 hours of completing tasks to ensure accurate and timely billing of the customer. 
  • Manage assigned projects
  • Complete any other duties appropriate to job role as assigned by management 

Requirements

  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills 
  • ​Microsoft Server experience required 
  • Proficiencies in IIS; MSSQL, Hyper-V, F5, Cloudflare  
  • Experience with IP address schemes 
  • Experience of managed firewall configuration 
  • Familiarity with .NET applications 
  • Experience with setting up databases, such as MS SQL Server and MySQL 
  • Experience in the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of common web server, database, caching, and database services 
  • Experience with cloud computing services such as Azure and AWS  
  • Knowledgeable of information security issues and industry standards such as SSAE-16 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences 
  • Competent in creating and maintaining documentation 
  • Strong organizational skills  
  • Minimum 5 years' experience  
  • IT certifications a plus (Microsoft, Network+, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience.

  • Significant development experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET Framework.

  • Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, React, or Angular are a plus.

  • Experience with Kentico or Umbraco CMS platforms are a plus.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • ​Enthusiasm within a team structure and discipline to handle solo projects when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide digital strategy for website designs and redesigns, primarily in the financial services industry (specifically banks and credit unions)

  • Create new site architectures against best practices for SEO and usability

  • Collaborate with design and development teams on design strategy

  • Consult with clients on opportunities and execution of digital and print tactics including but not limited to SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media marketing, analytics, web copywriting, traditional marketing and more

  • Offer strategic support for clients on digital retainers, from concepting through tactic execution and reporting

  • Work closely with other ZAG digital strategists on internal and client-facing initiatives

  • Support ZAG’s own integrated marketing efforts including sales support, blog writing and more

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Marketing/Communications

  • At least 3 years of experience at a digital agency or similar in-house agency type of setting

  • Understanding of web technologies and the web development life cycle

  • Ability to deliver flawless work - on time and on budget

  • Creative thinker who can work collaboratively with teams to create innovative solutions

  • Excellent verbal, presentation and communication skills

  • Love for writing and the skills to back it up

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, casual and hard-working environment

  • Bonus points:

    • Google Analytics and/or other Google certifications

    • Experience with small project management

    • Familiarity with .NET CMS' - Kentico is huge plus
