Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management and other staff setting the development approach to translate design and strategies into solutions that meet both business and end-user needs
  • Remain current with the latest development techniques and leverage those techniques to meet clients' needs
  • Work at a fast pace to meet project deadlines and while working on multiple concurrent projects
  • Research the competitive landscape and make recommendations relating to website organization and information hierarchy
  • Use your collaborative skills with colleagues and clients to maintain ZAG's high standards of service and solutions
  • Think independently, take control of a project with a can-do attitude and identify inefficiencies while offering alternative, more effective solutions where appropriate
  • Grow professionally in an engaging and enjoyable environment where strong work ethics and senses of humor are mandatory

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience
  • Significant development experience with HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
  • Strong understanding of modern responsive web design techniques and supporting libraries / frameworks
  • Aptitude for Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET
  • Experience with C# a plus
  • Experience with a .NET Content Management System is a plus
  • Experience with LESS and/or SASS a plus
  • Experience with mobile development a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm within a team structure and discipline to handle solo projects, when necessary
  • Thorough understanding of multi-platform/multi-browser compatibility
  • Work onsite in our Glastonbury CT office full-time (no exceptions)

This person will play a key role in developing websites and applications for our growing client base and will be an integral project team member, continually working with our project managers, designers and other developers.This position requires working directly with the clients and internal staff to manage multiple website development projects.

  • Use your collaborative skills to ensure compatibility with colleagues and clients to maintain ZAG’s high standards of service and solutions
  • Think independently, take control of a project with a can-do attitude and identify inefficiencies while offering alternative, more effective answers
  • Grow professionally in an engaging and enjoyable environment where strong work ethics and a sense of humor are mandatory

Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm within a team structure and discipline to handle solo projects, when necessary
  • ASP.Net, C#, Razor, RESTful services, WCF, SOAP, Javascript, JQuery, Angular as well as a strong understanding of all front end web technologies.
  • Experience with .NET Content Management Systems, preferably Kentico, Sitefinity, and/or Umbraco
