Dutch Point Credit Union is a Connecticut-based institution that opened in 1960 and currently serves a membership base of more than 21,000 with $240 million in assets. With seven branches throughout the state and a community charter, Dutch Point needed a forward-thinking, progressive website that attracts new members and allows members to find information quickly and engage self-service channels effortlessly.
Clean, responsive design with enhanced site architecture
ZAG’s team created a responsive design website that broke up Dutch Point’s previously “boxy” appearance with a design that is open and fresh using softer imagery and colors. Our redesign included a reorganized, more intuitive site architecture and simplified “mega menu” navigation in order to guide visitors through the site quickly while showcasing important information at the top of the page to eliminate the need for scrolling.
Development based on the Sitefinity CMS
Our developers bolstered the clean design with intelligent functionality that enhances the user experience and simplifies content management for Dutch Point’s administrators. Building on the Sitefinity Content Management System, our team created clear calls to action on all pages and integrated Google Maps to make it easier to find Dutch Point branches and ATMs. Developers also seamlessly integrated third-party online banking services and built a dynamic rates management database that updates rates across the website within a centralized location. Additionally, we built events and news pages using Sitefinity’s built-in modules.
ZAG’s copywriting department collaborated with Dutch Point’s marketing team to edit the site’s content for tone consistency and SEO value, the latter of which was the result of the ZAG marketing department’s targeted keyword research.
As a result of this team effort, Dutch Point has a fresh, modern, responsive website that accurately reflects Dutch Point’s brand attributes of high-quality service, convenience and value and will grow with the institution over time.
