Serving as a blueprint for the new site, ZAG Interactive created a new
site architecture that would increase visibility of key offerings and make it easier for visitors to discover financial products. The new menu structure creates an intuitive user experience, and introduces pages for specific product themes that provide opportunities to optimize for organic search as part of the on-site
search engine optimization (SEO) strategy.
Creating a successful and strategic content experience
Each individual page uses a flexible layout to allow for custom content experiences while creating consistency across the site. Supporting Dutch Point Credit Union’s copywriting efforts, each layout contains strategic content areas that allow for effective communication. Providing strategic direction for how each component should be used on each page, the website content is easily digestible and guides consumers along the decision-making journey.
Supporting the consumer journey and digital marketing
The website seamlessly incorporates educational resources such as financial calculators, articles as part of a custom-designed and developed blog, and more to support consumers in the earlier stages of the buyer journey. This includes a custom solutions finder tool that recommends financial resources, services and products based on a selected goal. In addition to this, thoughtful promotional space intends to move visitors closer to product adoption, from lead form submissions to online applications. The site also features a prominent Current Promotions button near the online banking login to engage existing members that may only be visiting for transactional purposes.
Refreshing the credit union brand and digital presence
The responsive website design gives new life to the exiting Dutch Point Credit Union brand. Refocusing the use of color, texture and other elements, the site design creates a visual story-telling experience that truly reflects Dutch Point Credit Union’s vision, values and competitive differentiators, while highlighting the distinct value of its different products and services. The site is also created against current ADA conformance guidelines to ensure an equally accessible experience for all users.
Embracing new technology and user-friendly content management
The new website is built in the Umbraco content management system (CMS), making it easy for administrators to maintain content. Allowing for even more seamless updates, the site features a custom-developed rates management tool, locations finder with AllPoint ATM Integration, and an events calendar.
