California-based Premier America Credit Union’s previous website did not reflect their continued commitment and evolving brand - as times and technologies changed. Its navigational menu experience also made it more difficult for website visitors to navigate to product pages. Additionally, the site did not provide an easy way for administrators to manage and maintain site content, making it difficult to optimize and keep fresh. Wanting to create a better overall experience from administrators to website visitors, Premier America Credit Union trusted ZAG to develop a modernized site that would support business needs and user goals.

Transforming the navigation & structure

  • The refreshed site architecture and reimagined menu experience is easy to use and defines a clear path to products, services and resources for website visitors.
  • To assist in the consumer journey, each page layout introduces relevant resources to help evaluate options and choose the best financial solutions for their needs.
  • ​The new responsive website design offers a positive experience that automatically adjusts to a visitor’s screen size and device which allows the credit union to offer full site content in a format that is suitable for mobile and tablet screens.
Unique branding elements, including the credit union’s ampersand, are used throughout the site to establish their continued commitment to inclusion.

  • Lifestyle imagery illustrates authentic scenarios that reflect the product or service while appealing to a diverse demographic and increasing relevance.
  • From anchor links to iconography, comparison tables, a “most popular” indicator and more – these design features are used to create visual interest and make the fresh website content easily digestible.

Supporting decision-making & tailoring the experience

  • To provide solutions for audiences, a prominent solutions finder tool, accessible from the homepage, presents relevant products and resources based on a specific financial stage or goal.
  • Blog articles are included on internal product pages to assist in decision-making while a personalized content experience is incorporated into certain components on the page to deliver tailored content based on previous browsing behavior.

To ensure a better experience for everyone, including administrators, the newly designed and developed site was built in the Kentico CMS.

Leveraging technology & simplifying management

  • With flexible, ADA conformant page layouts, including a landing page for marketing campaigns, Premier America Credit Union will be able to create unique page-level experiences for visitors, while maintaining visual consistency.
  • A FAQ database allows for centralized FAQ content management changes across the site.
  • Additionally, custom analytics was incorporated to fully understand all conversion points and better optimize the new website to deliver the best results for visitors and against the credit union’s goals.
