Sharonview Credit Union is a full-service North Carolina-based institution with 16 branches that also extend into South Carolina and New Jersey. As part of a recent brand upgrade, Sharonview officials trusted ZAG Interactive to create a refreshed website that better captures the credit union’s mission of personal service, while upgrading the technology to meet members’ demands for mobile access.
A strategic base
We started the project by restructuring the website architecture to reflect simplicity and convenience within a refreshed design. Once the architecture was defined, ZAG’s design team created a responsive design that allows visitors on any device to enjoy the full Sharonview online experience and its convenient paths toward products, services and information. The streamlined navigation, easy access to popular features, and dynamic contact methods represent a significant user experience upgrade.
Enhanced content strategy
To complement the visual reimagining of Sharonview’s site, ZAG’s content team reworked the website copy to focus on members in a down-to-earth, approachable manner that positions the credit union as a trusted expert, all while supporting its SEO goals. ZAG will continue to provide ongoing SEO support to ensure specific pages are optimized immediately, as needed to support Sharonview’s business goals.

ZAG’s development team supported the modern design with functionality that enhances the user experience, simplifies content management for Sharonview’s administrators, and helps visitors quickly access information and tools they need. Built in the Sitefinity CMS, our development team integrated Sharonview’s third-party online banking platform along with several other third-party offerings. To allow Sharonview’s team to centrally manage rate information, we also built a custom rates management tool.
For Sharonview, the result is a powerful, intuitive website that meets all their members’ needs while allowing the credit union to grow and change the site over time.
