Primary and secondary brand colors as well as lifestyle and inclusive imagery helps resonate with local, diverse audiences to create a welcoming digital atmosphere. The strategic use of textures and the introduction of animation creates a visual interest that encourages users to scroll while clean, new website content engages users and makes the information easy to digest.
Upgrading the navigation to meet current & future goals
The updated site architecture and new menu provides a more intuitive navigation that helps users easily access the credit union’s products and services while also accommodating for future flexibility. The new product pages allow website visitors to easily understand what the features and benefits are and introduces helpful resources PFCU offers to aid in the decision-making process – guiding their members to products and services that ultimately lead to financial success.
Supporting the inbound marketing strategy
Based on research and best practices, the ZAG team created an SEO strategy for PFCU to drive valuable visitors to the website for product information and financial advice. To enhance their role as a financial partner to their members, a custom blog was added to the new site. Not only does the blog serve as a resourceful financial literacy library, but it also supports the credit union’s content and integrated marketing strategy. To further understand consumer behavior, from on-site activity to third-party application access, a custom analytics strategy was implemented. PFCU is now able to monitor and measure key performance indicators and use that information for future optimizations.
Enhancing the technology and flexibility
The new site was built in the Umbraco Content Management System which allows the credit union easier management and out-of-the-box features while providing the customization they needed to create a truly unique website. The rates and locations management tools were easily integrated to help streamline management across the site to ensure accuracy and conformance.
