While Lone Star CU opened its doors only to Lone Star Gas employees in the beginning, it expanded membership to five counties in 2000 while maintaining its high standards of personalized service. Lone Star recently unveiled a new brand and logo, and ZAG Interactive was tapped to revamp their website into a modern digital space that reflects their principles.

In the spirit of this commitment, ZAG created a website with a responsive design that caters to Lone Star’s tech-savvy, mobile audience. The fresh design features large, engaging imagery balanced by an airy aesthetic that invites visitors to dig deeper into the website.

Important information now can be accessed easily through improved navigation, meeting Lone Star’s request to quickly lead visitors to online banking, ATM locations, contact information, loan applications and membership and account openings.

The flexible platform will grow with Lone Star while continuing to provide areas where the credit union can tie together its social media and marketing initiatives and provide educational material that explains the benefits of credit union membership.

ZAG’s development team supported the clean, modern design with functionality that enhances the user experience, simplifies content management for Lone Star administrators, and helps visitors quickly access information and tools they need to take care of their business.

A rates database enables Loan Star officials to easily manage rates in a centralized location rather than spending time on piecemeal, page-by-page updates. Also, multiple third-party integrations now fit seamlessly within the new site, including online banking, links to Lone Star’s insurance partner, locations finders, and loan application and payment systems.

ZAG’s marketing department contributed targeted keyword research to improve the content’s SEO value while developing meta tags for all site pages to maximize search result rankings and click-throughs.
