Lincoln Savings Bank

A refreshed website helps this bank and its customers grow better together

The Challenge

As an Iowa-based bank committed to serving its communities, Lincoln Savings Bank needed a new website to better reflect its vision and values. The previous instance of the website design and functionality limited the user experience and marketing opportunities. It was not ADA conformant, had outdated technology, and lacked customization capabilities to create unique presentations. Additionally, as the site evolved over time, the menu had become cluttered and challenging to navigate. Lincoln Savings Bank needed a coherent experience and strategy that supports their goals of engaging their current audiences, while also obtaining new ones.

Utilizing technology to improve site management

The updated website is not only a better experience for the visitor, it is also easier to update and manage for administrators on the back-end with the Kentico Xperience CMS. With robust technology, Kentico allowed Lincoln Savings Bank to create the unique website they were looking for. Seamlessly integrated into the Kentico build are custom tools for rates management and location management. Both tools are able to be centrally managed while providing visitors with relevant information at their fingertips.

Incorporating strategic marketing

To increase awareness and generate interest about the newly redesigned website, ZAG developed an integrated a pre- and post-launch website campaign. By utilizing a landing page as the hub of the campaign as well as social posts, email messages, and in-branch displays, the bank was able to reach audiences across multiple platforms. Highlighting new site features and functionality while encouraging exploration with a scavenger hunt-inspired contest, Lincoln Savings Bank was able to effectively prepare users for the new website and drive engagement upon launch.
