A new site strategy
This site redesign helped surface Great Erie’s most popular products and services front and center for their members, creating an improved user experience and helping to increase conversions. This was supported by a new, more intuitive site architecture, a refreshed, branded design and user experience that appealed to the credit union’s audiences, including those with disabilities.
Portraying Great Erie’s unique brand identity
Buffalo & Western New York’s historic buildings, famous Lake Erie and the waterfront are among some of the additional images the client wanted reflected on the new website. Together with a consistent color palette and modern visuals, the new site offers a fresh but comfortable user experience.
Improved content and site management
The new website copy, rewritten by ZAG, portrays a friendly, conversational, optimistic, stable and professional tone, includes clear call to actions on every page, and supports a local SEO strategy. The new site is also easy to manage – from centrally managing rate information through a Rates Management tool to easily adding and updating pages. The Umbraco CMS offers an affordable site management option and easy integration with the credit union’s third parties.
