A website redesign delivers an enhanced user experience for members

Everwise Credit Union, the largest credit union in Indiana, went through a rename and rebrand, and needed a new website that would reflect the credit union’s refreshed vision and continued commitment to members. The credit union had worked with ZAG Interactive as Teachers Credit Union on its last website redesign, and once again hired ZAG for this important project. With a focus on providing personal attention, convenience and support to help members reach their financial goals, the new Everwise Credit Union website was created to empower people and set the credit union up for continued growth.

Focusing on solutions and product positioning

Following a collaborative discovery session, ZAG developed an initial site strategy to support Everwise Credit Union’s goals. Creating a solutions-oriented approach, the new site architecture uses key action words that align with consumer needs. The overall site strategy balances product promotions with helpful financial resources to support a successful consumer journey. A custom solutions finder on the homepage embodies this approach by suggesting related or recommended products, services or resources based on a visitor’s financial goals and life stages.

Bringing the new brand to life through design

Everwise Credit Union wanted the website to reflect their friendly, personal, insightful and down-to-earth brand attributes. The custom responsive design, use of photography, iconography, color and other visual elements represent Everwise Credit Union’s distinct personality, while connecting with members and communicating important product and brand value.

Widget components are designed to fit the new brand while maintaining consistency throughout. All site elements are designed and developed to be conformant with current ADA guidelines to provide a positive brand experience for all users, including those with certain limitations or disabilities.

Attracting visitors and guiding along the consumer journey

A research-based search engine optimization (SEO) strategy helps attract relevant website traffic, while strategic copywriting and other interactive elements engage visitors with product-related content. Financial resources such as calculators and blog articles presented contextually throughout the site help educate, empower and establish trust with consumers. The new website also integrates several custom product finder tools, which allow visitors to select requirements and preferences, and receive product recommendations that best fit their specific needs. Focused on generating meaningful action, prominent calls to action on every page provide a clear path for consumers, and a custom conversion-focused landing page is designed specifically to encourage new account, loan or membership applications online.

Enhanced technology and custom features

With advanced capabilities and enhanced functionality, the Kentico CMS makes it easy for administrators to manage and maintain the website. A combination of standard features and custom components allow for more customization. This includes a locations finder with ATM and other integrations, as well as tools for centralized rates management and more.
