With locations in eight counties in Pennsylvania and New York, and assets exceeding $1.2 billion, Citizens & Northern Bank (CNB) has been providing personal and business banking solutions to their customers since 1864. CNB tasked ZAG Interactive to portray their core brand values of trust and community, while offering a fresh, modern responsive design and powerful new technology.
ZAG’s strategy team began by developing an intuitive website architecture that would allow visitors to quickly find the information they need, and provide scalability to CNB as they grow and change in the future. ZAG’s design team then developed a fresh, responsive design that was far more simplified than the old site, implemented usability best practices and conveyed CNB’s investment in its community.
ZAG’s copywriting and marketing teams partnered to deliver fresh copy that reflected a consistent, professional and brand-appropriate tone, while having local SEO value.
ZAG selected the Kentico CMS as the development platform for CNB, because of its powerful technology and scalability to meet their future development and marketing needs. The new website was built to be fully responsive and seamlessly integrate with a variety of third parties. Additionally, ZAG built custom rates management and bank locations management tools to allow CNB administrators to easily update this information dynamically throughout the site.
