Headquartered in Fall River, Massachusetts, BankFive is recognized as one of the top regional banks in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The independent community bank sought to redesign its informational website to activate its recent rebrand, ensure ADA conformance and maximize SEO value. Committed to customer service, BankFive also focused on user experience with its new site by requiring easy-to-use navigation, mobile responsive design and a simplified site architecture. To reach these goals, BankFive collaborated with ZAG Interactive for its site redesign.
Creating a website strategy
To map out the business goals and marketing objectives for the new site, ZAG and BankFive kicked the project off with discovery session. After nailing down all the prerequisite requirements for the redesign, ZAG’s digital strategists mapped out the new website architecture resulting in a simple, scalable structure and user experience for a large bank site.
Designed for beauty and accessibility
ZAG’s design team then created custom homepage and internal page concepts that met all project objectives and brought the new brand to life. The selected look and feel showcases BankFive’s trademark purple, while displaying black-and-white photos of actual customers and bank employees. Utilizing responsive design and designed against WCAG 2.0 ADA conformance guidelines, the site is also accessible to those no matter what device or disability.
Developed to perform
Bringing together the strategy, content and design elements, ZAG’s developers built the website on the Kentico CMS. This powerful, scalable platform to allowed us to deliver a site that is easy to manage, including custom features like a rates management tool, locations management tool, custom blog, and numerous third-party integrations.
