A full-service, digital agency, ZAG Interactive is pleased to announce that it has won three new WebAwards for websites developed on behalf of several financial institution clients. Creating these sites from concept to completion, ZAG won the Best Credit Union Website award for its redesign of the Black Hills Federal Credit Union website, the Credit Union Standard of Excellence award for its redesign of the Ardent Credit Union website and the Bank Standard of Excellence for the redesign of the Investors Bank website. Proving the quality of work, ZAG is proud to have earned a total of 17 WebAwards to date.
“Winning WebAwards is thrilling,” commented Larry D. Miclette, President/CEO of ZAG Interactive. “It lets us know that we’re building industry-leading sites for our clients and helps recognize the amazing work our team produces.”
Founded in 1997, the Web Marketing Association is the producer of the WebAward Competition – the longest running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best websites in 96 industries. Each site is judged by three or more industry experts based on seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use. With the top scores earning recognition, winning WebAwards is a true honor for all website development agencies.
Best Credit Union Website: Black Hills Federal Credit Union
A progressive credit union located in South Dakota, Black Hills Federal Credit Union made it clear to ZAG from the start that it was the project team’s goal to not only deliver a best-in-class website for its members, but also an award-winning one. After a collaborative lifecycle that included onsite discovery, digital strategy, brand activation, full copywriting and SEO, website conformance, third-party integrations and custom Kentico development, the resulting website made good by winning the prestigious “Best Website” award. This award is the highest honor in its category. Communicating the credit union’s commitment to community involvement, the site offers a contemporary, responsive design with continually updated modules for news, events, donations, promotions and more. To make joining the credit union easier, the site features an membership eligibility tool and easy-to-follow switch kit. Capitalizing on the success of the site redesign, Black Hills and ZAG continue to work together to maximize the website’s success, including technical support, marketing support and more. The WebAward is a true validator of a site that meets business goals through a successful working relationship. Check out the website and read the case study.
Credit Union Standard of Excellence: Ardent Credit Union
Formerly known as Sb1 Federal Credit Union, Ardent Credit Union turned to ZAG for a site redesign that would activate its new brand, ushering in a new era for the Philadelphia-based financial institution. Working with newly prescribed brand standards, ZAG created a distinctive site that displays regional lifestyle imagery and distinct brand messaging that exemplifies the credit union’s new positioning of “Grit Makes Great.” One of the highlights of the new site is the ArdentCU@WORK section, which details the customizable financial wellness program that Ardent offers its business partners. To focus on customer service, the site redesign presents easy-to-access locations, rates and support, as well as user-friendly features, such as an integrated knowledge base and live chat functionality. The “Standard of Excellence” award signifies that the new Ardent website scored highly for its credit union category. Check out the website and read the case study.
Bank Standard of Excellence: Investors Bank
As a large community bank serving New Jersey and New York, Investors Bank chose ZAG to create a new website that would differentiate the financial institution in a cluttered and competitive marketplace. Strategically, the site redesign focuses on putting the customer in control with intuitive main navigation, a persistent toolbar of popular pages, related resources on detail pages, multiple ways to make contact, and other best practices for an enhanced user experience. Developed to be responsive and to be AA compliant, the site is accessible on desktop and mobile devices, as well as for those with disabilities. The site engages users with friendly copy, interactive video and a modern layout. Assuring that visitors would find the redesign easy to utilize, the site underwent usability testing prior to launch. The “Bank Standard of Excellence” award validates that this site is not only modern and helpful to customers, but also a standard against which other bank sites should be measured.
