5 New Responsive Bank and Credit Union Websites

The first signs of spring are here, and with it, ZAG Interactive is pleased to announce five new websites that have bloomed. The growing ZAG Interactive portfolio now includes three new bank clients and a two new credit union websites. Each project used ZAG’s strategydesignbuild and marketing services and simultaneously strived to meet client goals as well as visitor goals. First Federal Bank
With more than 30 branch locations throughout northwest Ohio, northeast Indiana and southeast Michigan, First Federal Bank needed its website to become a powerful, digital branch. Serving its communities for more than 80 years, First Federal needed its website to better meet the needs of its customers. Starting with overhauling the website architecture, the new site organized personal and business solutions intuitively and offered related resources for each audience. The Insurance offerings were also separated into a sister microsite to better meet business needs. ZAG’s design team created a crisp, modern responsive design that projected a trustworthy, customer-focused and action-oriented feel. ZAG’s marketing and copywriting teams partnered to re-imagine the site’s copy, while keeping SEO a high priority. Built in the Kentico CMS, the site boasts robust technology, including third-party integrations, a custom rates management tool and a custom branch location management tool. To create fanfare around the new site’s launch, ZAG developed a custom website launch campaign integrating offline and online tactics.

Citizens & Northern Bank
Offering personal and business banking solutions to customers in Pennsylvania and New York, Citizens and Northern Bank hired ZAG Interactive to reinvent its website. It was critical that the new site portrayed Citizens & Northern Bank’s core brand values of trust and community, so ZAG began the project with a website re-architecture that was focused on key customer goals. Next, ZAG’s design team simplified the website, focusing on powerful photography and key user goals. Using the Kentico CMS as the development platform, the new responsive site seamlessly integrates numerous third-party platforms, a custom branch location tool and a rates management tool. Ahead of the website launch, ZAG’s strategists conceived an integrated site launch campaign to increase visibility of the new site within its geographic footprint.

BankPurely
Long-time ZAG Interactive client, Flushing Bank, introduced a new, niche online-only bank, BankPurely, and contracted ZAG Interactive to develop its initial site. ZAG was challenged with developing a responsive website that attracted socially-conscious and technologically savvy customers. Beginning with a scalable website architecture that introduces BankPurely’s financial solutions, the project then turned to the design phase. The unique, responsive design, combined with savvy copywriting, offers a modern, warm, organic feel that educates visitors and entices them to become a customer. The Kentico CMS provides a strong foundation for the new site, and will seamlessly support BankPurely’s future growth and expansion.

Self-Help Federal Credit Union
An existing ZAG Interactive client for years, Self-Help FCU had acquired several other credit unions, saw a significant increase in its mobile traffic, and had generally outgrown its website. After seeing the results of ZAG’s website refresh for parent company, Self-Help Credit Union, Self-Help Federal Credit Union engaged ZAG Interactive to pursue a similar approach. ZAG’s strategy team revamped the site architecture to that it fit within the established convention of the parent site. Our design team then met the challenge of creating a symbiosis between sites, yet offering sufficient brand and user experience distinction. Like the parent site, the Self-Help Federal Credit Union site was built on the Kentico CMS and offered third-party integrations and robust technology for easy site management.

Lone Star Credit Union
Deep in the heart of Texas, Lone Star Credit Union’s previous website was not exactly the pride of the Lone Star state. With a new logo and brand and increasing mobile traffic, Lone Star CU decided that it was time to introduce a new site that better met business and visitor needs. ZAG’s strategy team introduced a new website architecture that was rooted in core member needs. The fresh, new, responsive design reflects a more youthful, modern, airy aesthetic, while the Umbraco CMS provides the functionality Lone Star needed. The modern design and technology were complimented by an initial search engine optimization strategy that the institution can build upon in the future.
