In cinematography, the visual elements set the mood and move the story to create an experience for the viewer. In developing a website, the same tenants hold true, especially a website for a film company.
We just launched a new website for screenwriter James Foye, president of Foye Boy Films, that is visually engaging on many levels.
Our design captures the essence of the company as a creative institution with cutting-room-floor imagery of spliced film, reels, typewriter and hand-written notes. We also incorporated an old-school typewriter font that complements James’ screenplays that often revolve around spies, thieves and noir themes.
The site’s navigation is equally stark and direct, providing all of the important information about Foye Boy Films and its past and current projects.
