January 2, 2022 marked ZAG’s 20th anniversary. In digital agency years, similar to dog years, that’s pretty much like celebrating our 50th anniversary! Starting as a smaller agency catering to local businesses and financial institutions, we’ve grown and changed so much over the years to have a nationwide clientele and clients across a spectrum of industries. During this time, we have celebrated our successes, learned from our mistakes, and we are going into our 20th year in business with the same mission we began our business with: We believe that hard work is born in an environment that fosters collaboration, good fun and the pursuit of something better.
While the last few years have been challenging for all of us both on a personal and business front, 2022 brings the opportunity to focus on a few key goals which we wanted to share with you.
Feedback: We Truly Want to Know – And Grow
In 2022 you will notice a greater emphasis on giving feedback to ZAG. If you are happy – we want to know. If you are frustrated – we want to know. And if you just want to reach out – you have always been able to pick up the phone or send an email because we’re always here to help. A process we began in Q4 of 2021, all clients will receive quarterly client surveys so you will be reminded to keep the formal feedback loop open. In addition, we are rolling out a survey for each Help Desk ticket. Your feedback – good and bad – helps us better meet your needs and helps us grow and learn. We hope you will take this opportunity to help us exceed your expectations.
Security is a Top Priority
The world is increasingly sophisticated and we take the security of your website with great pride. In 2021 we introduced a partnership with Cloudflare – introducing a suite of additional security services for clients that host with us and even those that don’t. These services include an enhanced Web Application Firewall (WAF), advanced bot protection, credential stuffing protection and screen scraping protection. These preventative services enhance the security services we previously provided, and are highly recommended for all clients.
Technology is Ever Changing
As a leading digital agency, we have seen technology evolve at warp speed. We are always evaluating CMS’s and new technology so that we can feel confident that we’re making the right recommendations for your business or institution. In 2022 we are continuing to build in the latest version of Kentico, we’re building custom Umbraco and theme-based Umbraco sites, and we are beginning to build sites on HubSpot CMS well. Likewise, our marketing services continue to evolve to leverage this technology to maximize results. It’s a very exciting time to be in the digital space, and we are excited for what the future holds.
Support When You Need It, How You Need It
In 2021 we reorganized our entire agency to better meet our clients’ needs. Grouping resources into pods, we have teams of account managers, project managers, strategists, designers and developers all aligned with specific clients. This allows us to better know and service your exact needs and improve our overall customer experience. We also overhauled our ticketing system in order to better triage and respond to your Help Desk tickets. In 2022, we will continue to focus on how we can be responsive, proactive and helpful to you, and we will look for ways to ensure we are meeting your every need.
