ZAG Year in Review: 2019 Website Redesigns

2019 was an important year for ZAG – winning the Best Bank Website and Best Credit Union Website WebAwards, moving to our new CT headquarters, hiring some great new teammates, and launching 25 new websites for clients across many industries including banks, credit unions, healthcare, education and more. As we close out the final month of this year (and decade - yikes!), we are taking a look back at each of these projects so that you can check out the great work our team does each and every day, and hopefully get some inspiration for your own 2020 website redesign.

Kentico Gold Partner: 2019 Website Launches

As a Kentico gold partner with unparalleled experience in the financial services sector, many banks and credit unions choose ZAG to be their digital partner. The Kentico class of 2019 includes these awesome sites, several of which received recognition as a Kentico Site of the Month.

  • Whitefish Credit Union: This Montana-based credit union needed a new website to better cater to member needs, portray a more local and modern feel and offer powerful technology to manage the site now and in the future. This site redesign was recognized as a February 2019 Kentico Site of the Month.

  • Berkshire Bank: This website overhaul was a key part of a larger digital plan for this Massachusetts-based bank. Not only was the design and user experience significantly modernized, but the site also helps facilitate the bank’s marketing and technology plans as well. This site redesign was recognized as a May 2019 Kentico Site of the Month.

  • Teachers Credit Union: As the largest credit union in Indiana, TCU needed a site that would help members achieve their financial goals. Offering features like a solution finder, site tour and more, the new site aligns products and services with visitor needs, increasing relevancy and likelihood of conversion.

  • University of Michigan Credit Union & Eastern Michigan University Credit Union: ZAG reimagined these credit union sites to share new design layouts with branding specific to each institution. A fresh, ADA conformant design now allows members to more easily navigate the credit unions’ offerings and resources.

  • M.Y. Safra Bank: This NYC-based bank needed a website to reflect its unique positioning and products, and hired ZAG to modernize its digital presence. Their new site is simple yet sophisticated, has fresh copy to convey the bank’s messaging and provides ample room to grow with the bank over time.

  • MECU: MECU chose ZAG to introduce its new brand on the credit union’s most important digital channel – its website. This custom site design and build project highlights MECU’s refreshed identity, supports the credit union’s digital strategies, simplifies site management and is a centerpiece for future marketing and communication efforts. This website redesign was recognized as an August 2019 Kentico Site of the Month.

  • Middleburg Financial: When existing ZAG client, Atlantic Union Bank, acquired another institution, its wealth division needed a separate site. ZAG created a site design for Middleburg Financial that conveyed this distinct brand and appealed to this specific audience. This site, also built in Kentico, allows Atlantic Union administrators to seamlessly make day-to-day updates.

  • Firestone Financial: Berkshire Bank, an existing ZAG client, wanted to give its specialty financing division’s website a fresh new look and feel with updated technology. ZAG leveraged some of the elements on the Berkshire Bank site to create a consistent but unique site, resulting in a site that supports this business unit’s marketing and communication needs.

  • PCSB Bank: ZAG helped this NY-based bank by creating a new website that better meets the needs of customers and site visitors. Improving the design, customer journey, marketing value and technology, the new site serves as a digital branch that will evolve with the bank.

  • ALLIANCE Credit Union of TX: When this TX-based credit union hired ZAG, they knew they needed a site that delivered a better experience for members, facilitated site updates and allowed for growth. The new site offers a relatable design, fresh content, marketing capabilities, easy site management and so much more.

  • Andrews Federal Credit Union: This large-scale website redesign project included nearly all of ZAG’s service offerings and is exemplary of the great work that we do. Recognized as a November 2019 Kentico Site of the Month, this project included a responsive, ADA conformant site redesign that reflects the credit union’s refreshed brand, many custom development initiatives, content and marketing services, and more. The new site is now ready to serve and solve for the credit union’s worldwide members.

  • Clearview Credit Union: As the largest credit union in the Pittsburgh area, Clearview needed a site that focused on its member needs. The new custom website showcases most of ZAG’s most popular services – from responsive design and development to ADA conformance and content writing. The result is a distinct site that guides members and generates business results.

  • Peoples Bank of North Carolina: ZAG helped this NC-based bank bring its new site design to life – offering strategic services, custom development, usability testing and custom analytics services. The new site provides an improved visitor experience and helps administrators easily maintain the site.

  • First American Bank: First American Bank needed a site to better serve its customers, provide more engaging content and drive marketing conversions. ZAG utilized an integrated suite of custom design and development services resulting in a modern site that guides visitors towards financial solutions, supports common needs and positions the bank well for its digital plans.

  • Ameris Bank & Welcome Site: When Ameris Bank purchased Fidelity Bank, they required a vendor that understood the banking industry and could deliver a robust site in an aggressive timeline. ZAG delivered not one but two highly custom sites that introduced the new bank and brand to the world. We initially designed and developed a microsite to welcome Fidelity customers to Ameris. At the same time, we were doing custom strategy, design and development work on the main Ameris site – resulting in a site that is more modern, helpful, sophisticated and powerful.

  • XCEL Federal Credit Union: ZAG helped this NJ-based credit union reimagine its digital presence, creating a fresh new site design with enhanced features for members while allowing administrators to maintain fresh site content.

Leveraging ZAG’s theme-based solution, ZAG delivered a site that offers an intuitive structure, effectively communicates this NY-based bank’s offerings, and integrates seamlessly with its marketing campaigns.

  • Main Street Radiology: ZAG helped this healthcare provider improve its digital experience, modernizing the look, feel and content of the site while offering an easy way to manage regular site updates.
