CT Digital Agency Keeps Growing

New ZAG Interactive staffAs ZAG Interactive’s client roster continues to expand, so has our staff of digital professionals. With over fifty employees and growing, ZAG Interactive continues to attract the best and the brightest designers, strategists, marketers, developers, account managers, project managers and more to meet the demands of our hundreds of clients nationwide. Get to know seven fresh new faces, and check back soon as we continue to expand our team.

Jennifer Poole, Designer
Prior to joining ZAG Interactive, Jen worked in promotional marketing for over ten years, helping well-known brands including Heineken, Energizer and the Travel Channel with their design needs. Jen joined the growing design team at ZAG to support our client website design needs, campaign design needs and everything else that comes her way. On nights and weekends, Jen is an avid jewelry designer and enjoys the great outdoors – from snowboarding to kayaking and hiking. And, should Jen win the lotto anytime soon, she would love to volunteer at the Red Cross and help clean up areas hit by natural disasters.

Ray Palmer, Designer
Ray recently joined ZAG Interactive after leaving his art director role at Chief Executive magazine. Eager to grow his web design skills, Ray has been working on website redesigns for many new ZAG clients. Though Ray primarily grew up in Connecticut, he spent the last few years in beautiful Savannah GA. When not designing amazing sites and print collateral, Ray can be found on the golf course, spending time with his fiancé and their pit bull mix Charley, traveling, making delicious meat and enjoying the outdoors.

Josh Orlando, Project Manager
Josh has 11 years of banking experience, primarily in marketing for banks and credit unions in Connecticut. This experience has given him the skills he needs as a Project Manager at ZAG, managing redesign projects from start to finish for banks, credit unions and other businesses. When not putting out fires in his project management job, he fights actual fires as a volunteer for the Colchester fire department. Josh also enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. Someday Josh hopes to go skydiving, tour Italy and maybe even go to space. In the meantime, ZAG will keep him very busy here on earth.

Kate Macri, Project Manager
Kate recently joined ZAG Interactive as a Project Manager. With an agency communications and marketing background, Kate will be the primary project contact for many exciting new website design and redesign projects. While not managing projects at ZAG, Kate enjoys spending quality time with her dog Tiko, riding her Harley and even enjoying some country line dancing. We hope Kate can teach us some of her moves!

Taylor Larese, Executive Assistant
With a degree and background in design, Taylor joined ZAG Interactive to learn agency life from the ground up. As Executive Assistant to President and CEO, Taylor helps ZAG run as smoothly as a rapidly growing agency can be. Most recently, Taylor has helped in our design department and achieved local stardom designing the winning logo for HYPE’s 10th anniversary. While not working, Taylor loves to travel, eat donuts, eat donuts while traveling, run off donuts with her dog Kane, and shop at thrift stores for furniture to redo.

Jourdan Hamilton, Administrative Assistant
Jourdan is the first face you see when you visit ZAG’s offices, and the friendly voice you will hear if you give us a ring. After working for a financial broker and merchant solutions company, Jourdan is now trying her hand in a digital agency to learn the ropes. From answering phones and greeting visitors, to helping keep the office running smoothly behind-the-scenes, Jourdan has quickly made herself essential to day-to-day life here at ZAG. When not at work, Jourdan loves spending time with her daughter -- whether bowling, at the beach or snowboarding. Someday Jourdan hopes to be a rock star, so will be taking up an instrument any day now.

Leigh Burnham-Brown, Business Development Specialist
Leigh joins ZAG’s business development team as a Business Development Specialist. With experience in account management and business development for a diverse portfolio of clients and industries, Leigh will be helping identify the needs of prospective ZAG clients and supporting all ZAG’s clients with their quoting needs. Leigh is a new mother so, together with her husband, is kept very busy at home with their daughter, Mackenzie, and their three dogs. Like many ZAG staffers, Leigh enjoys the great outdoors and can be found hiking, camping and kayaking in her free time. She also loves sewing and designing clothes and jewelry, and hopes someday to own her own boutique. We’re putting our orders for ZAG necklaces now.

Jennifer Hoagland, Strategic Account Manager
As ZAG’s newest Strategic Account Manager, Jen brings a strong background in digital strategy, marketing account management and ad operations. Well-versed in the digital agency environment, Jen will be working closely with many of ZAG Interactive’s clients to help them assess and manage online and offline opportunities and get the most out of their investment. In her free time, Jen loves to run, bike, play with her dog Rosie, eat sweets and travel. Someday if Jen becomes independently wealthy, she plans to travel the world and blog about it. Until then, we’re happy to have our third Jen on staff just to keep it real.
