Consumers Credit Union is one of the few credit unions with a charter that opens membership to people outside of their local area of business. As such, they approached us seeking to enhance and expand their online presence to reach a vast market of potential members.
In the first three months of managing Consumers Credit Union’s social media, we grew their Facebook fans by 87 percent and their Twitter followers by 22 percent while we continue to manage their content and overall presence.
Personalized Communication
First, we created a consistent voice that they use on Facebook and Twitter to communicate with their fans and followers. Then we established a strategy for their blog to blend informative articles with internal news, events and announcements. We also helped personalize the Consumers Credit Union staff by introducing them and their roles so members and potential members would feel more of a connection.
Customized, Complementary Designs
Their website that we recently redesigned was integrated with social media buttons and blog and Facebook feeds to tie all of the content together. We also used the website design to create customized, complementary designs for their blog, Twitter page, YouTube channel and Facebook landing pages and unique tabs. The tabs include a specialized Welcome page along with a Testimonials page and Job Postings page, all of which creates depth of relationships with members.
