As a New York-based bank competing against mega institutions, Apple Bank was ready to embrace social media to modernize its messaging and reach customers through Facebook for the first time.
Facebook and Website Integration
We created a Facebook presence for Apple Bank with a customized landing page whose content changes as the bank features new products, services and information. Links within the Facebook landing page allow visitors to map Apple Bank branch locations and draw visitors back to the bank’s website. A custom bank location and hours tab provides that information on Facebook so visitors don’t need to be directed to the website for it. On Apple Bank’s website, we prominently display activity on the Facebook page so that website visitors can easily jump to the other platform.
Creating a Community
Our strategists developed a blueprint for Apple Bank to create a feeling of community with its Facebook fans. The goal is to highlight the inner-workings of the bank to educate customers and to publicize the various social and civic causes in which Apple Bank is involved in the New York metropolitan area.
