Walden Federal Savings Bank is headquartered in Walden, N.Y., but wanted to recast itself as a banking solution with a greater presence in the Hudson Valley. We teamed up with bank leaders shortly after they decided to become Hometown Bank of the Hudson Valley.
New York-based Walden Federal Savings Bank underwent a name change to Hometown Bank of the Hudson Valley at the same time they sought a website redesign from us. A vital part of their rebranding was upgrading and streamlining original website content.
Creating a Flow of Information
Like many websites we encounter, Hometown Bank’s site had become a bit of a jumbled mash-up of information over the years as products and services were developed. An important part of our redesign was to logically group Hometown Bank’s offerings with the help of the bank’s marketing professionals.
Then our copywriting department presented the information in new formats that provided a wealth of information in manageable and readable chunks. Website visitors now can quickly find information they want without combing through other content that gets in their way.
The result is a more efficient, professional layout that reflects Hometown Bank’s reputation in the community.
