As a $1.2 billion credit union and one of the largest on the island, HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union approached us with specific goals to accomplish with a new website.
First, they needed a website that enhanced usability for site visitors that matched the personal service they deliver to members and prospects. And with the unveiling of a new brand, the website’s design needed to align appropriately.
Beauty and Brains
We designed and developed a user-friendly website on Sitefinity that fulfilled both objectives, weaving together the look and feel of Hawaii’s beauty with functionality that provided more information to website visitors and represented all of HawaiiUSA’s business units.
Our strategy also included a complete rewrite of HawaiiUSA’s website to improve content and showcase the variety of services and offerings HawaiiUSA offers.
The results have been significant. Comparing the six-month period before the redesign to the six-month period following the redesign, HawaiiUSA experience 15% more total page views, 9% more unique page views, a 10% increase in traffic from Google, and a 6% increase in new visitors. Also, HawaiiUSA's bounce rate decreased by 12%, meaning visitors were hanging around longer to read more website pages.
