This project was one of the favorites of our pet-loving staff. With a national base of clients, we always enjoy finding solutions for companies in our backyard, in this case, Glastonbury, Conn.-based pet store Appalachian Tails.
Distinct Personality
Appalachian Tails is a well-known pet store that operates out of an updated wooden barn, and we provided a distinct, personalized look by replicating the wooden planks in the website’s background.
We further updated their website using the Sitefinity Content Management System, a flexible ASP.NET-based platform that provides clients the ability to update their website independently.
Sitefinity enables Appalachian Tails and all clients to operate their own blog, features permission-based publishing and Microsoft Word-like editing for supreme usability. With Appalachian Tails, blog posts are highlighted on the home page of the website.
There’s also an SEO-friendly URL, an events calendar and search functions imbedded in the website and blog that simplify navigation.
