Digital Strategist

ZAG Interactive is seeking a Digital Strategist to join our amazing Marketing team. Think you’ve got what it takes? The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience at a digital agency or similar in-house function, is obsessed over great website and campaign strategy, highly organized (read: type-A), an analytical geek, a not-so-secret design snob, a superb communicator and presenter and last but definitely not least, has a great sense of humor. You also must be willing to work full-time in our Glastonbury, CT office (we have music playing all day, unlimited coffee and a slide!). Candidates who don’t meet these criteria will unfortunately not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead campaign and overall digital strategy for key accounts
  • Collaborate with design team on usability and user experience best practices
  • Analyze and report on completed campaigns
  • Assist in site architecture, content auditing and sitemapping for new projects
  • Support business development team in digital strategy for prospective accounts
  • Research, learn and communicate emerging industry trends and best practices internally and to clients
  • Author strategy-based content to demonstrate thought leadership and support internal marketing initiatives

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in a digital agency or equivalent environment
  • Experience in digital marketing including UX, strategy, email, data analytics, SEO and more
  • Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Thrive on working on a deadline and within a defined set of hours
  • Desire to “roll up the sleeves” and assist in campaign execution when needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
  • Sarcastic sense of humor

ASP.Net Web Application Developer

ZAG Interactive is seeking an experienced ASP.Net application developer to join our energetic team. This person will play a key role in developing websites for our growing client base and will be an integral project team member, continually working with our project managers, designers and other developers.

This position requires working directly with the clients and internal staff to manage multiple website development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management and other staff setting development approach to translate design and strategies into front-end and back-end solutions that meet both business and end-user needs
  • Research the competitive landscape and make recommendations relating to website organization and information hierarchy
  • Remain current with the latest development techniques that will help shape clients’ needs
  • Work at a fast pace to meet tight project deadlines and continuously juggle multiple projects throughout a typical week
  • Use your collaborative skills to ensure compatibility with colleagues and clients to maintain ZAG’s high standards of service and solutions
  • Think independently, take control of a project with a can-do attitude and identify inefficiencies while offering alternative, more effective answers
  • Grow professionally in an engaging and enjoyable environment where strong work ethics and a sense of humor are mandatory

Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm within a team structure and discipline to handle solo projects, when necessary
  • Ability to quickly hand-code semantic HTML/XHTML and CSS from Photoshop and Wire Frames
  • Experience working with JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Flash

  • Experience with a .NET Content Management System, preferably Sitefinity CMS
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience slicing, resizing and optimizing images for the web

Front End Web Developer
