New Developer Brings Kick to the Office
ZAG Interactive has long been championship-caliber, but now we have a ring to
prove it. Plus, we’ve really improved our competitive balance in case any
company wants to play a friendly soccer match.
That’s because developer Eric Soares has joined our team after 10 years of
owning and managing his own technology company where he specialized in web and
application development.
Eric was a midfielder and defender for the 2000 University of Connecticut
soccer team that won the national championship. After graduating from UConn in
2001 with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering, he began his
entrepreneurial pursuits.
He’s fluent in a variety of programs such as PHP, JavaScript, C++ and many
more, and he brings extensive experience working with MySQL and MySQL Server
along with Linux, Windows and OSX operating systems.
In general, this is what he likes: candy, coffee, pizza, music, biking,
hiking, soccer and training his German Shepherd.
Here’s what he dislikes: piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.
He’s also passionate about photography but he has yet to train his
German Shepherd to photograph him eating pizza.
